Free Wheel Verse – 2
Never breaking the boundary of your life
one realises that there are maybe no more possibilities in world,
maybe all the permutation and combinations have been applied
and the life that you live showed the ultimate face of reality.
But sometimes people tend to choose to not see it.
Once we miss it, it goes out and creates havoc,
so we never let it out of our sight
with a hope that maybe one day things will be all right,
supposedly believing that the uncanny and the unalterable
future
can actually be altered for the sake of all the miserable things
that may happen in this world,
which are beyond the point of understanding of one’s own belief
so that we don’t have to disbelieve our own fate.
Determining one’s eventual destination with a balance
that might look justified from the wise man’s perspective.
All those who need to know the importance of the impudent
Misery,
beckoning their knowledge toward the general understanding
that certain things can never be achieved
despite any amount of effort or paying importance to the
significant entity.
Moving around the maze trying to get to where we want to go
so along we go beholding the manners and mannerism of the
materialistic world,
one of the largest, biggest, hugest
and most unforgivable, unusable, unbearable incidents
that shape a person’s life who likes to run on treadmill,
on and on and on, on the same spot
without understanding the meaning of the debauchery played
on him,
distinctive, disconnected and misconnected, interpretable and
interlockable incident which is just simply
inconceivable to his innocent mind.
Blaming the blameless for a certain period of time
beyond the spaces that might still have the distinction of night
and day.
They realise later on that the discomfort that they felt for the
behaviour
of the branch of brotherhood was unnecessary.
The girls with their dresses on, going to school,
Thinking, speaking, touching and feeling
barefoot on a rocky road and recognising the reputed
which made somethings identifiable to the repulsive behaviour
of the unanimous
and unambiguous beyond the extent of stars and moon and
planets
with all of their colors around the sun of course.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
and Pluto
all the other twinkling things staying in a constant consistent
motion
in absolute blackness of existence.
A space where water doesn’t exist nor exists fire,
a place where you can’t sit still
nor can fly away where you wish to fly.
North by north west and south by south east
twisting the bodies around bodies
that reminds a person of the sacrifices that he might have to
make while living a life.
All the diamonds he would have to kick away
before he stumbles upon his specs that would help him to see
things clearly.
Without the necessary appliances around us
we don’t know or understand the belief that has sprouted in the
poor and ungifted,
for we are neither poor nor ungifted.
Each one carries their own disease with themselves.
Making a wish and the wish that whats forthcoming with the
idle wish,
may not hurt us.
A wish made by hardly an effort that scares even the biggest self
proclaimed idler on his sofa,
puts him in shame in front of the untamable and unrecognizable
entity
that keeps on looming around the space
something else that gets me empty inside,
another thing that comes and sucks me dry.
“Free Wheel Verse – 2” is a poem I wrote to explore the boundaries of our lives and the constant search for meaning. It’s about confronting reality, understanding our limitations, and navigating through life’s complexities.
In this poem, I start by acknowledging the boundaries that define our lives. It can feel like we’ve exhausted all possibilities, seeing the ultimate face of reality. It’s about recognizing our current situation and the acceptance that comes with it.
I touch on the human tendency to avoid facing harsh truths. We often hope that things will get better, even when the future seems fixed. This reflects our inherent optimism and resilience, the belief that we can still influence our fate despite overwhelming odds.
The poem also addresses the idea of effort and the realization that some things are beyond our control. It’s a humbling acknowledgment that not everything can be achieved, no matter how hard we try.
Another important aspect is the critique of materialism and the repetitive nature of daily life. Running on a treadmill, staying in the same spot, symbolizes the lack of real progress despite continuous effort. It’s about the disillusionment that comes with chasing things that might not truly matter.
I also explore the idea of blame and the unnecessary discomfort it causes. It’s about understanding and forgiving, recognizing that our discomfort often reflects our own insecurities and misunderstandings.
Towards the end, I emphasize the importance of perspective and clarity. The search for glasses to see things clearly symbolizes the ongoing journey toward self-awareness and understanding. It’s about continuously seeking clarity in our lives and making necessary sacrifices to achieve it.
Writing “Free Wheel Verse – 2” was an attempt to reflect on these complex emotions and thoughts. It’s about facing reality, holding onto hope, and seeking clarity amidst chaos. Through this poem, I aim to share the importance of understanding our limitations, maintaining hope, and striving for a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
